One beautiful day... Two fantastic shoots...

Monday was a rockin' day with beautiful weather, vibrant fall colors, and two fantastic shoots. First, we met up with Erin and Tracy for a relaxed post-wedding shoot. It was great to just hang out for a couple of hours and shoot. Thank you guys for a fun time; looking forward to getting together again sometime soon--

Just before sunset, we got together with Cristin and Andrew. They will be married next year and you get a sense that they're in love or somethin' :) . We had a great time and are looking forward to the wedding!

Feature in Weddings Unveiled

Weddings Unveiled magazine recently hit the stands with their fall issue and it looks great! We were particularly excited about Jess and Ash's wedding featured in the magazine. You can get a copy at your nearest magazine retailer (Barnes and Noble, Borders, many Walmarts, etc.). We were blessed to be a part of the wedding.

Old married couple...

Well, not really.

It was so good to see some great friends at Ellen and Ryan's wedding last weekend. Among those were Mary Gene and TL. We had the privilege of shooting their wedding in May. I just received an email with this photo reminding me of what a joy it is to have friends that are not simply "clients"... It was great seeing you guys and look forward to getting together sometime soon! Remember, we're close to the NC ski slopes :)

Buster, the non-conformist...

We had a wonderful time with Ellen and Ryan on Friday and Saturday. Sunday, before heading home, we hung out at the park near the Chattanooga aquarium. So, we're at the park watching as Buster runs and catches a frisbee. Then, he returns it to various people in the crowd--choosing who he wants to throw it next. When his owner gives him the signal, Buster runs about 50 yrds away and jumps on top of a fire hydrant! Buster stayed there until his owner/trainer told him to return, simply with a motion of his hand. I just had to post this image as it's one of the funniest (and most amazing) things I'v seen lately..

Ellen, Ryan, and a yacht getaway...

This past weekend, we had a wonderful time in Chattanooga with Ellen and Ryan. Their wedding was atop Signal Mountain at Sign Mtn. Presbyterian Church with the reception held at the Mohney's home. It was a beautiful day for a wedding! It is so obvious that these two are in love and as well, loved by so many. Close to 800 people were in attendance and the party afterwards was nothing short of spectacular. Ralph and Jackie are obviously gifted at hosting wonderful get-togethers as the back yard was transformed into a gala location reminiscent of "Father of the Bride". Ryan and Ellen surprised everyone as they departed in a yacht, sailing into the moonlight. WOW! What a day! Here are a couple of images from their day--Click here to see their preview movie.

Thank you guys.. It was awesome being a part of your day!

Allison, Peter, and an art museum

We had the pleasure of photographing Allison and Peter's special day on the 23rd. It was a great day with a really cool couple. The wedding was held at St. Andrews Lutheran Church next to Lenior-Rhyne College with the reception at the Hickory Arts Museum. The museum is currently hosting the exhibit "Live With History: Images from the New York Times Photo Archives"... Wow, how perfect a setting for this special soirée! I was mesmerized by the photography in between the shutter releases of my camera. Here are a few shots from the event. You can visit their wedding preview by CLICKING HERE.
