Wild, Wild, West

We took our annual trip out to Montana last week and had a great time. This is a good time every year to get out of the office, see some of God's creation, get caught up a little on book design, and occasionally hit the slopes. Last week, we had the opportunity to go into the park (Yellowstone) . Here are just a few captures from our trip--

Before launching in to professional photography full-time, Jen and I lived and worked at a Christian camp up in the mountains. We would take trail rides, head up the climbing elements, go whitewater rafting, etc. Each summer, more than 200 kids a week would come to the camp and do all of these activities and more. We also had close to 50 summer staff there for the summer. Christen was a counselor at the camp for a number of summers and we worked together with the Pioneers--the 3rd to 5th graders. We became good friends and over the past couple of years had lost touch a little. Jen and I were so excited to hear that Christen was engaged and we were blessed to be able to cover the wedding. Here are a few shots from that cold, snowy day in January.

We had a great time earlier this week down in Charleston with Mitchell and Athena. They are an awesome couple we have the privilege of shooting later this year for their wedding. Here's a couple of shots from the trip--we'll post more later..

Virginia workshop

We had a great time at the Guerrilla Management workshop in Fredricksburg, VA. This was a workshop primarily for business management geared to photographers. We also had a good time hanging out with James and Meridith of Walters & Walters photography . They're very talented photographers from Raleigh and just great people :) I'll post more a little later--our heads are still spinning from the trip.

It's been a while since we've blogged so I added quite a few images today from various weddings and shoots. Scroll down through the shots and we'll soon add more details and links to the slideshows.
We're in the process of catching up on editing and book designs and let me say, we have been so blessed to have been a part of such beautiful events with some great people. It's exciting looking through all of these images and seeing the moments recorded--I LOVE MY JOB!!
