Well, it's that time of year again--Valentine's Day! Ok, so I'm not crazy about this holiday as I think it has become such a big deal for marketing purposes.. For me, it ranks up there with Groundhog Day and National Basketweavers' Day :) BUT, I am a bit of a romantic and love to do special unexpected somethings for Jen so once again, this holiday cannot slip by unmentioned. So guys, a word of advice, make Valentines day special for your special someone wether you're crazy about the holiday or not.. I thought this would be a good time to share some ideas for cool gifts for the big day.. Here are a couple that I've come across. First, next to flowers, chocolate is the most given
Valentines Day gift. You can purchase your honey some Hersheys or you can really get the brownie points.
Noka Chocolate and
Vosges Haut-Chocolat are two of the world's premium chocolate creators. Noka has some of the coolest packaging aound and the chocolate is fantastic.
So these are a couple of starting ideas.. Let's hear anyone else's thoughts of Valentine gifts, especially unique ones!
Known for their unique packaging and premium price, Noka is world renowned--
Vosges provides flavorings such as ginger, paprika, and wasabi (YEAH!)

Here is one of the truffles with Indian Curry and coconut over a milk chocolate.

coconut, curry, and chocolate that sounds awesome. i want to try that.
OK, so my valentines day idea also revolved around chocolate, but unfortunately it "backfired". I gave Jodi some great dark chocolate that came in small squares and told her there was enough there to have two squares an hour for the entire day. I thought this was a great idea and so did she.
We now agree that we think it is possible to overdose on chocolate since Jodi was messed up for days.
At least the roses I bought her did not force her to the rest room and they outlived her chocolate trauma.
