Before launching in to professional photography full-time, Jen and I lived and worked at a Christian camp up in the mountains. We would take trail rides, head up the climbing elements, go whitewater rafting, etc. Each summer, more than 200 kids a week would come to the camp and do all of these activities and more. We also had close to 50 summer staff there for the summer. Christen was a counselor at the camp for a number of summers and we worked together with the Pioneers--the 3rd to 5th graders. We became good friends and over the past couple of years had lost touch a little. Jen and I were so excited to hear that Christen was engaged and we were blessed to be able to cover the wedding. Here are a few shots from that cold, snowy day in January.

And that last summer, when i saw one of the first books Jen was working on....i knew then and there that i wanted the Tarpley's takin' my wedding pictures. It was my only priority, and i am so thankful it was. These are just perfect and i can't wait to see the rest. ~Christen (spiritual giant)
Christen,
You guys are awesome!--we really enjoyed being a part of your day. And I like your comment at the end--lol.

Christen,
Isn't it great to have these guys involved with your wedding? They've done three for our family! Jen mentioned to me that they'd done your wedding and I just squealed--congratulations! God bless you and your marriage!
